HEATH PIPER

Heath Piper is an award-winning Australian radio personality with a 20-year professional broadcasting career. He has made significant contributions to both the entertainment and education industries.

Heath is best known for co-hosting "The Heath & Normy Show", airing on Triple M across Australia and NXFM Newcastle. He has interviewed many high-profile celebrities throughout his career, including the likes of Ricky Martin, James Blunt, Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and Ben Lee.

His passion for radio began in 2003 at Charles Sturt University's campus radio station 2MCE, where he worked as a radio host throughout his studies. Heath’s big break came when he won a radio show contest called "semi-pro radio", which led to his debut on commercial radio as host for a night show at Triple M Sydney in 2009.

Heath's career continued to blossom when he was offered a breakfast show in Albury, which he hosted for two years, along with a regular nationally broadcast show called "Top Mates" on the Austereo network. In late 2012, “Heath and Normy'“ were offered the breakfast show at NXFM in Newcastle and went on to top the podcast charts in 2018 with their series, "How To, with Heath and Normy".

During this period “Heath and Normy” won two Australian Commercial Radio Awards; "Best Show" and "Best New Talent."

Aside from his radio career, Heath is also a dedicated teacher. He has worked across Regional NSW and the Illawarra as an ESL teacher, teaching English to refugees and a well-being teacher, working closely with students with trauma from war-torn Syria.
